&41st SEAMEO closing dinner
23rd was so exciting :)
english was 1st 2 periods. doing compre is boring.. doing a tough compre is worse. was so distracted during english by ailing's stupid 8days! :/ maths for awhile then mel huizi & i headed to canteen for recess :) met the rest & loaded stuff.
sec4s' 05 met us & SMU! (: btw, we didnt get the fav bus uncle for this perf, sigh.on the bus there, everyone kept playing nonsense la. still had the energy thats why, lol. the stupid security there was so lousy. they didnt let our bus stop at where we wanted! they gave us some damn faraway place, aiyoh. so we had to shift quite far. but playing w the trolleys was fun. was having some 'competition' w wenxin.
tk their lift, passed the entrance then saw our perf place. it was quite grand.. but they only allowed 1 part to go on stage at first- bass :) rehearsed by ourselves once. it was rather, not well coordinated :[ then we had to wait, for dont know what reason. but we just slacked there. was viewing other ppl's phone file managers, lol. pearly kept molesting me please. talked alot of rubbish w Mom & girlfriend pearly. then! the other performers rehearsed on stage. there was some pipe music, rubbish bin hitting (lol) AND the beatbox!!! haha. the guy doing the beatbox was darn cool! at 1st it was Mom who said it. i agreed, then the whole world kept saying i have a crush him!? thanks to haha whatever. they were recording his performance. wah can go international :)
everyone was getting all fed up about NO LUNCH. hrmph but we had teabreaks ;) i only ate 1 bread, 3 puffs WHAT. & they kept 'YOU PIG' to me :( had this holding room.. sharing w the other performers. the beatbox guy had his gf accompanying him! & everyone dislike his gf, lol. they were doing some love quiz please, sit so close, lol :/
finally, everyone got to stand on stage. shifted and shifted. they kept making us shift! so everyone went in, missgoh made wenxin & i stay outside w her. we watched the ycksec ppl perform. they did well (: but the organizer made them repeat their perf for i think 10 times. seriously! the whole thing. missgoh could even recite their lines lah please. we were supp to hear whens our turn. pearly had a serious crush on this hwachong emcee, HAHA (: sat down at the VIPtable to listen. we learnt THEIR lesson so we managed to 'move' without mrfong! omg (: & they were all smiles to us. we only rehearsed once and they were so satisfied. of course, we arent ppl who waste time, lol.
SO WE HAD OUR DINNER BREAK THEN ;) missgoh was damn biased la! "COME ALL THE JC PPL, I TREAT(she said in hokkien,lol) YOU ALL TODAY LA!" and i was like protesting super profusely! okay i did that for 2 levels! she was quite paiseh also la. ours is next year :) they went tcc please, ergh. annabel the kind soul lent wenxin mel & i 10bucks. actually not enough for 2 humans and 1 pig leh. HAHAHA. bought some dimsum then the mocha at the cafe :) sat down to admire angmohs. omg mel was drooling over them. no, not just her you know. desiree, theodora!! lol. they were saying damn loudly la. what 'grey color one' and 'green one'. their shirt colors, lol. they knew we were talking abt them man. later on, there was this yellow guy. he's the hot one pls. haha he looks like brad pitt! so i called him 'cake pit'. kept seeing them la :)
lynette, liz e, mel & i helped to bring dinner up. so we had to go thru this security thing as we werent in our costumes yet. they brought a golden retriever to sniff in the room?! lol. there were like thousands of police. cos the guests are ministers. damn strict. then we got in w 4 stickers. had to change, makeup, wear shoes etc. our changing room is like another room. how big is their sch man :) and its like in a library! so we were literally parading in front of the Ustudents! okay dinner in the room. pineapple rice w 3PIECES OF CHICKEN. thanks to ppl who dont want to eat lor. purposely act thin. the one who shared food w me la! LOL =P went to our holding room. eliz c & i rushed up again to get our cams ;) tk lotsa pics in the room. thanks to me, haha. had a sudden urge to take a pic w the beatbox guy la. but obviously, his gf kept appearing at the wrong time, lol. he dyed his fringe white, *faints*.
okay so we performed. at last. haha waited quite long. all i can say is, both songs were so perfect. i think they were almost exactly syf standard. even though we had no mrfong, we did it :) am so proud of our team. we deserved the GWH title :) the ministers were friendly people! oh miss yoong was a VIP as well. aft tt, went back to holding rm to crap more. were playing some stupid games invented by wenxin, lol. suddenly there was this lady who popped by at the door & praised us. i dont really rmb what she said except for that "it was magic to my ears" part :) then assembled at the door to rehearse some waving thing at the end. then aft tt the beatbox etc came up too! nono, before that, he was walking pass us and i was standing so near to him! lol. anyway. shook the ministers hands ONE BY ONE :) tk a grp pic w minister.of.education spore, and more group pix, whoo!
had only 5min to change if we want to change in the room, so we hurried and loaded stuff on bus. on the way back, mel was like gonna puke or smth. then wenxin had headache. she kept cursing the bus uncle, lol. everyone was so tired. ah. we reached the sch only at what, 1030! and it was almost pitch dark alr. so scary! the uncle tk away our lights by driving away so fast! missgoh was the bravest pls. she kept asking us not to be scared and her " come everyone! take out your torchlights! " hahaha. she meant handphone lights la. finally done w everything at abt 1045pm. omg when we closed the shutters, we left huizi and wenxin outside & it was seriously absolutely definitely frightening cos aiya, go imagine yourself. huizi's daddy sent us home.

thank you all a million times for being a part of us during the performance. i guess you all really sacrificed alot of all your time just to come back for the practices. we truely appreciate all your commitment and i think no words can describe how touched we all were on that very day :) we performed a miracle again <3
me: "so is mrfong coming?"
missgoh: "yeah, to rehearse"
everyone YAYed.
annabel: "where is mrfong?"
missgoh: "he like cannot make it leh! he always cheat my feelings one you know!!!"
everyone HUHed.
during dinner.
missgoh: "hey MRFONG LIKE CAN COME!"
everyone OMGed.
she goes to pick mrfong at the entrance.
when she came back, she was alone.
everyone: "where is mrfong?!"
missgoh: "he said he thinks he cannot make it by 7.. maybe he might just pop out"
everyone WAITed.
performance time.
everyone looked frantically for mrfong.
no where to be found.
just plain disappointment :]
im glad i enjoyed the whole of 23rd march so well :)
